In July 2012, a major fire hit Heritage University -- now this Friday the school in Toppenish will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony as they open three new buildings.

Vice President of Marketing and Communication David Wise says, “In the three new buildings, there’s a new art gallery as well as art studio space and classrooms. A new dining commons, conference center and bookstore and a new IT infrastructure building.”

Three buildings housing those centers were lost in the 2012 fire.

Wise says Heritage also added extra classroom space in the buildings to help the school deal with continued growth.

The ceremony is set for 1:00 p.m Friday at the school, followed by a reception and a campus tour.
