Traveling is a challenge over the Cascade passes Friday. Officials with the State Department of Transportation say a winter storm is resulting in heavy snow and rough driving conditions over Snoqualmie and White passes. The Eastbound lanes of I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass were closed earlier Friday because of numerous spinouts and crashes. The forecast calls for 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight and 13 to 27 inches on Saturday.
White Pass is also getting a lot of snow. The forecast calls for 2 to 7 inches of snow tonight and between 14 and 31 inches of snow on Saturday.
