Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic partnered with Fiesta Foods of Yakima to provide health care resources, medical screenings and other health care information to the public.

This is the sixth year this event has been going on, and event organizers said this event is helpful because many people in the valley do not have the medical resources they need.

"Here in Yakima Valley almost 50 percent of the community are Latinos and a lot of Latinos have a lack of medical providers and lack of medical insurance," community and outreach coordinator Lily Gonzalez told KNDO.

Saturday the event had many resources to help educate people about health issues.

Organizers said this event helps people connect with medical professionals to get on the right track and start living a healthier lifestyle.
