Head Down To Front St. & Catch Down North This Thursday Night

Since its inception in 2013, the Downtown Summer Nights concert series has done nothing but get more popular each year -- to the point where it had to be relocated to historic Front Street in Yakima. This Thursday night kicks off the sixth of 10 mid-week concerts with the fun and funky sounds of Seattle's Down North headlining. Yakima's own Tempest Band will open the evening's entertainment.

The weekly event is child- and pet-friendly and runs from 6-9 p.m. each Thursday through Aug. 16.

Local food vendors, a beer and wine garden, kids activities and live music from multiple Northwest musicians make this community get-together a can't-miss on your summer social and entertainment calendar.

The event is sponsored by the Downtown Association of Yakima. Chinook Fest is in charge of the music.
