Congratulations to the graduates of the class of 2014!  Now get to work (reality check) and help with the tax burden!  Yakima Valley Community College will host its 85th Commencement Ceremony next Thursday June 12th  at 7:00pm on Parker Field on the YVCC Yakima Campus.The graduating class of 2014 is a mixed bag of higher learners featuring students ranging in age 18 to 67 with thirty-four  Veterans and 67 Running Start double dippers earning their high school diploma and an associate degree at the same time.. The college will award a total of 1,005 degrees and certificates to 902 students including transfer degrees, professional/technical degrees, and certificates.

This year’s keynote address will be presented by Lieutenant Governor Brad Owen. The student commencement speech will be delivered by YVCC graduate Ms. Yesenia Navarrete Hunter.
