Happiest Couples Can’t See Eye To Eye

Here is info about a study with which I totally disagree. I am six foot three and my ex wife was five foot three. According to the study we should have gotten along just great based on our difference in height!

It takes many factors to make a happy marriage, but a new study reveals that having a tall husband helps. Researchers from Konkuk University in South Korea analyzed data from nearly 8,000 women collected in a long-term population survey, and discovered that the greater the height difference between husband and wife, the happier the wife was. (keep in mind this is from Korea where height is relative!)

Study leaders say the effect dissipates entirely by the 18th year of marriage, but that in itself is instructive because it indicates just how powerful of an impact a male’s height has on women's psychology.

It's thought women prefer tall men because -by way of evolution- they are perceived to be stronger, and that women who opt for tall men are more fertile. (Daily Mail)
