Hands On Activities For Kids Friday At The Museum — Dave’s Diary
The 4th annual Blossom Festival take place at the Yakima Valley Museum this Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. It’s a hands-on extravaganza of fun for kids. Activity booths will be themed to match the different exhibits found in the museum including decorating and planting a flowerpot to take home, face painting, hair feathers, crafts, music, games and more! Child-friendly food and beverages will be served and included in your ticket price.
The Children’s Underground is the destination throughout the year for field trips for public and private schools, preschools, and home
schoolers. Through activities and hands-on exhibits, kids learn about the people and history of the Valley.
To help insure that the Yakima Valley Museum will be able to continue offering the educational opportunities of the Children’s Underground, please consider joining us as being part of the Blossom Festival. All proceeds go directly to the non-profit Children’s Underground fund and enable us to continue our work within the valley.
Admission into the Blossom Festival is $10 per adult, $5 per child, and for larger families - no more than $25 total per family. Tickets can be purchased at the Yakima Valley Museum’s front desk, located at 2105 Tieton Drive, or on the day of the event at the door.
