While I'm not a fan of a "haunted" attraction, getting to work behind the scenes tells me that this is going to be a real treat for those who do!

I don't like horror movies unless they're the really old ones, like the Universal Pictures classics, or the British Hammer films. I did enjoy "the Mummy" series with Brendan Frasier because of the great special effects. I don't like the demonic or the paranormal.

For those that do like that sort of thing, "Terror On The Ave" will not disappoint you.

I had a chance to help some of the creative crew that is putting together this fantastic attraction that opens Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in the old Schultz Furniture building at 5th and West Yakima Avenues. I helped with some construction and lighting and got a real behind the scenes look at a place that will scare you, shock you, and definitely play with your head.

Everything, from sound to actors, props to lighting, to just a genuinely creepy atmosphere will keep you on your toes.

And if you're the least bit claustrophobic, too bad. One of the attractions is waiting just for you!
