Grandview School District Cooperating with Police in Sexual Misconduct Case

The Superintendent of the Grandview School District has issued a statement concerning the arrest of a Grandview School District Athletic Coach for sexual misconduct with a student.

Superintendent Kevin Chase in a statement writes that Stephen Sanchez, was an unpaid high school volunteer coach for the 2012-13 season. He says the district was notified of the allegations on Feb. 19.

Sanchez was relieved of his volunteering activities by the district on Feb. 20, pending the outcome of the investigation.

The Grandview School District is cooperating with local law enforcement.
