Guns and gang violence. That's what Governor Jay Inslee will be talking about during a meeting in Yakima Thursday. The meeting will be held at the 4th Street Theater next to the Capital Theater Downtown and will start with some opening remarks from the governor and then a series of presentations are expected. The presentations will be made by Yakima police, the faith community, education and city government. Those giving the presentations will tell the governor how guns and gang crime has impacted them and their organizations. In November the Governor is holding a gang summit in Tacoma and he's looking for information to help him understand gang and gun related problems around the state.
the meeting starts at 3:00 p.m.
