Got Blood? Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic Hosts Drive

The Gift of Life is yours to give. A blood drive is scheduled for the Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic Conference Center on Friday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

YouthBuild Yakima Valley, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, and the American Red Cross are teaming up to help the Toppenish community.

YouthBuild Yakima Valley is a Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic program designed to rebuild futures and restore hope for youth and young adults with extreme academic and/or socio-economic challenges.

Part of the program focuses on leadership and giving back to the community which is why organizers say the students decided to host this event.

To be a blood donor, participants can visit redcross.org and enter YOUTHBUILD to make an appointment. Participants can also call 1-800-RED-CROSS (733-2767).
