SEATTLE (AP) — The Republican candidate for state commissioner of public lands says he no longer supports Donald Trump for president.

The Seattle Times reports that Steve McLaughlin made the announcement Thursday because of a video released last week in which Trump brags about groping women.

McLaughlin originally stood by Trump after the video came out but said the more he reflects on it, the more disappointed and offended he is by Trump's behavior in it.

McLaughlin's initial support led to the cancellation of a Monday fundraiser with an organizer saying he didn't wish to be associated with anyone who maintains his support for Trump.

McLaughlin says he won't vote for Hillary Clinton either and will evaluate the remaining candidates before he votes.

Democrat Hilary Franz and McLaughlin are running this November to replace Peter Goldmark, who did not seek a third term.
