CYBERSPACE (AP) — Snowed in? You can still go the museum -- thanks to Google.

The Google Institute has collections from more than 1,000 museums and cultural institutions. Google says over 60 new ones were added last week.

You can descend through the famous rotunda of the Guggenheim museum in New York. Or, you can visit the Taj Mahal in India.

Google says its "gigapixel" images allow users to zoom in to see Monet's layered brushstrokes in his water lilies. Many of the galleries have Google's Street View interface, allowing the virtual visitor to stroll through the collection.
