SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Google often changes its logo — for stuff like holidays or to mark certain occasions. Now, it's making a change in the basic logo that appears on its site and corporate signage. The new design features the same mix of blue, red, yellow and green Google has used throughout its 17-year history. But the colors are slightly different. The company has also rolled out a new typeface. "Product Sans" is designed to resemble the simple printing you might find in a grade-school book. It's the sixth time Google has changed its logo since it was formed — but it's the most noticeable redesign since May of 1999.
