Girl in Serious Condition After Fall From Moving Vehicle

LYNNWOOD, Wash. (AP) — Officials say a 6-year-old girl who fell from a moving vehicle was in serious condition at a Seattle hospital.

The Daily Herald reports the girl who was struck Sunday by the vehicle after falling out of it was in serious condition Monday afternoon.

Lynnwood Police Sgt. Sean Doty says the girl fell out as the vehicle was turning out of a parking lot. She was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Police say the driver is cooperating and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
