The Washington Federation Republic Women’s group will focus on the impacts of If you want to know more about the impact of Common Core on Washington and the recent Supreme Court Ruling that fines the state legislature for not coming up with a plan to sustainably fully fund education, set aside some time for lunch next Thursday.

Sharon Hanek, membership chair of the Washington Federation Republic Women’s group will speak to the Yakima Women's Republican Club at the Yakima Valley Hotel and Conference Center,1507 North First Street beginning at 11:30 am.

WFRW is a grassroots organization with over 30 statewide Republican women's clubs seeking to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government and through active political participation.  Their mission is to strengthen the Republican Party by recruiting, training and electing candidates, advocating the Party's philosophy and initiatives, and empowering women of all ages, ethnicity and backgrounds in the political process.
