Another month closer to summer and another rise in gas prices. It's just that time of year say the experts when suppliers are switching to a summer blend. Still not bad because it's still under $3 a gallon. Are you driving somewhere this summer driving season? Here's what our friends at Gasbuddy.com have to say about summer gas prices. "Average retail gasoline prices in Yakima have risen 6.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.49/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 91 gas outlets in Yakima. This compares with the national average that has increased 6.1 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.28/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Yakima during the past week, prices yesterday were 39.3 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 22.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 15.1 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 46.1 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago."
