Gas Prices Going Back Up

There might be more pain at the pump in upcoming weeks. The dread of filling the tank might get a little closer to the tune of $4 a gallon. A Chevron refinery fire in Richmond, California and problems at another refinery in California might cause prices to rise. Senior petroleum analyst Patrick Dehaan says this situation could be similar to the fire at BP that affected Washington and Oregon earlier this year. California will probably see more price hikes than Washington and Oregon. The expected increase for the State of Washington this week is 5 to 15 cents a gallon.
