Gas Prices Experience Slight Bump

Yakima drivers are paying a little more at the pump this week after average prices rose 1.7 cents this past week to $3.21 per gallon.

The national average also rose at about the same rate and now averages $3.28 per gallon according to GasBuddy.com

Drivers around the city and the country are paying less than previous years, however. At the same time in 2013, prices were 16.7 cents per gallon higher locally. The national average was 26.8 cents per gallon higher in 2013.

Gas prices in Yakima have decreased 9.9 cents in the past month.
