Gas Leak Causes Massive Explosion In Seattle, 3 Businesses Destroyed, 9 Firefighters Hurt
A gas leak that was initially reported just after 1 a.m. in Seattle's Greenwood area eventually caused a massive explosion that registered on the Richter scale.
Some 40 minutes after the leak was called in, three businesses were flattened by the force of the blast. A gyro shop, coffee shop and mini mart were decimated.
