Full Scale Exercise Happens At Yakima Airport Thursday

A full scale exercise will happen at the Yakima Airport Today. Yakima city officials say it's called Operation Fuel and Bullets and it's planned for 12:30 p.m. this afternoon. The airport will simulate an airplane fire and an active shooter. More specifically the exercise will simulate a fire that was ignited next to an airplane following shots being fired. More than 70 volunteers actors and simulators will be a part of the exercise as victims, family members, media and others. The exercise is expected to last most of the afternoon. The airport will remain open during the event.
