Frustrated Yakima Police Not Any Closer in Solving Near Fatal Shooting

Yakima Police say they are not any closer to solving the near-fatal shooting today then than they were when they first found the victim on Saturday morning. Capt. Rod Light says 33 year old Ruenda Valeriano is being treated for a gunshot wound to the face today at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He's still unable to communicate with police. Light says detectives are hoping that when he can talk that he'll tell them about what happened before he was found shot on West Pierce Street in Yakima early Saturday morning.
