Seattle Police officer 30-year-old Hudson Kang formerly of Yakima has been release from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being wounded in a shootout with a robbery suspect last week in downtown Seattle.
Kang, a former Union Gap reserve officer before moving to Seattle was discharged Wednesday after being treated for wounds to his face and ribs. He continues to recover at home.
Kang and three other officers were wounded in the Thursday shooting at a
7-11 store in downtown Seattle. One suspect was killed. Another, a 17-year-old girl has been charged as an adult with robbery and assault.
