SEATTLE (AP) — Court documents show a former Seattle police officer is under investigation for unlawful imprisonment of a passenger while he was an Uber driver.

The Seattle Police Department fired the officer in 2015 after an investigation showed he inappropriately contacted women he met while investigating crimes and texted them hundreds of times.

Court documents say the former officer was working as an Uber driver in December when he drove a woman around Seattle for an hour although she said she needed to go home. She told police he kissed her and asked for her number, saying if she lied he'd know from her Uber information.

Documents say he texted the woman over the next several months. Police say she reported the incidents after he tried to get into her apartment building.
