The signing reunites the former Seattle number one draft pick with new Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley.

Marcus Trufant was the Seahawks number one draft pick out of Washington State in 2003. He played the last four years under Bradley, the Seahawks former defensive coordinator. Trufant started 125 games, totaling 638 tackles and 21 interceptions.

Trufant is expected to mentor a Jags defensive backfield that includes five rookies.
