Former Seahawk Golden Tate Signs With Detroit Lions
Sources say that the unrestricted free agent wide receiver signed a 5-year deal with the Lions on Wednesday.
A second round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Tate took to Twiiter to announce his signing with Detroit.
Tate's contract is reported to be $31 million over five years, with $13.25 million guaranteed.
In other Seahawks free agent news Wednesday, the team announced that defensive end Chris Clemmons had been released, and safety Chris Maragos had signed with Philadelphia.
