Former Seahawk Dan Doornink will be on "The Mike Bastinelli Show," today.  The former Wapato and WSU star will talk about his career with the Hawks and about his trip to Seattle this weekend.  The Hawks will pay tribute to the 1983 team which Doornink played on.  The 83 team will be honored during a ceremony at halftime of Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. The halftime ceremony will include current Seahawks owner Paul Allen, member of the original Seahawks ownership group John Nordstrom, Seahawks president Peter McLoughlin and members of the 1983 Sea Gals squad.

Doornink and  40 other members of the team including team captain Steve Largent and Ring of Honor members Jacob Green, Dave Krieg and Jim Zorn will be on hand to celebrate the 9-7 record, two playoff wins and an appearance in the AFC Championship game. It was the franchise's first playoff appearance in team history and the last Seahawks team to win a road playoff game until last year's win versus Washington.

Members of the team will appear in Touchdown City starting at 11 a.m. and available to sign autographs for one hour.

Fans can purchase limited edition "1983 Seahawks Playoff Team" commemorative footballs for $100. All proceeds from the sales of the footballs will be allocated to the Seahawks Alumni Assistance Fund.
