Two chimpanzees that used sign-language at a Central Washington University institute are reportedly doing well at a sanctuary in Quebec.

Tatu and Loulis were moved in August from Ellensburg to the Fauna Foundation sanctuary.

The Daily Record reports thhe sanctuary has about a dozen chimpanzees and ample space.

The two from CWU were the last of five chimps that lived at the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute, which has been discontinued.
