Flood warnings continue for the Naches River. The National Weather Service says the flood stage is 16 feet, but the river is currently at 16.4 feet. Minor flooding is being reported and the river is expected to begin receding later today. Officials say the water is high from recent rain and ongoing snow melt. No reports of damage have been made, and the Director of the Yakima Office of Emergency Management Jim Hall says he does not expect any problems. He says his office continues to monitor the situation and will notify property owners if anything changes in the forecast.
