Flags At Half Staff For WSP Trooper Who Died

Governor Jay Inslee has ordered flags at state and government buildings at half staff Tuesday to honor a WSP Detective who died on the job last week.

47 year old Brent Hanger was investigating an illegal marijuana grow operation near Chinook Pass in Yakima County last Thursday morning when he started having chest pains and stopped breathing.

His funeral is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Vernon.
