Flag Day Rocks When the Band is Madison Rising
Happy Flag Day!
June 14, 1777, a resolution of the second Continental Congress adopts the stars and stripes as the American Flag. Thirteen 13 colonies have grown to 50 states and Old Glory has seen her share of ups and downs, her share of glory and some shame, but she still proudly waves, representing FREEDOM to the world.
Even the freedom to take a little "artistic license" with the arrangement and performance of the "Star Spangled Banner."
A group called Madison Rising has been described as a patriotic-post grunge-hard rock band but they describe themselves at the United States "most patriotic" rock band and rock they do.
We've shared this before but it deserves another visit. Rock On Red White and Blue, Rock On!
