First-Place Pippins Host Sweets
The Yakima Valley Pippins will try to continue their winning streak tonight as they host the Walla Walla Sweets at Yakima County Stadium. The Pippins (15-8 overall, 12-6 West Coast League) beat the Kitsap BlueJackets 8-4 Sunday night for their sixth straight win.
The Pippins have now won 10 of their last 11 games.
Tonight's game with the Sweets is the first of a three-game series. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Hear it on ESPN 1460 KUTI -- the pregame starts at 6:55.
