Finalists Interviewed For New Police Chief

Yakima interim City Manager Michael Morales will make the short trip to Ellensburg tomorrow as part of the intensive search for a new police chief.  City Spokesperson Randy Beehler says Morales will spend most of the day there to focus on finalist Dale Miller. Miller is currently Ellensburg's police chief. Morales spent part of last week in Chicago to get a closer look at the other finalist, Dominic Rizzi jr. The city announced Monday that David Frazer of California is no longer being considered and the choice is down to two candidates. Beehler says Morales expects to make a final decision in a couple of weeks.
