Yakima County Fire officials responded to a fire at 260 A Street on May 13. It is the fifth case of arson in the last two weeks. Yakima County Fire officials say they believe this fire is related to the local string of arson cases. The cost is estimated near $20,000 with the majority of the damage to a window, paint, and a security light. Fire officials say the residents put up the security light because of the recent arsen cases. No one was in the home at the time of the fire.

If anyone has information on this fire, or any of the other arson cases, call the Yakima County Sheriff's office. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person, or persons, responsible.
