It is back to work today for detectives with the Yakima County Sheriff's office investigating a homicide in the Moxee area. Few details are being released about the incident. An autopsy Monday found that 30 year old Desiree Sunford, an art teacher with the Wapato School District died of multiple gunshot wounds at her home in the Moxee area over the weekend. County Sheriff's Chief Stew Graham says deputies found Sunford dead on Sunday. Graham says the victims husband, who was reportedly out of the area during the murder says he had not heard from his wife since Saturday. He called authorities Sunday morning asking that they check on his wife. No arrests have been made and no other details are being released.

Meanwhile the Wapato School District has extra counselors on hand today to help students deal with her loss.
