Feb. 9, 1964: The Beatles First Ed Sullivan Performance [Video]

If you're my age, and you were lucky enough to be watching The Ed Sullivan Show 47 years (that's right 47 years) ago, did your life change? Mine did, but I didn't know it at the time. There with the jugglers and stand up comics were the Beatles!
My sister thought that they were so cute, my brothers and I didn't like the long hair. But that was the night that started me on my journey as a lifelong Beatle's fan. In fact, my mp3 player is loaded with 56 Beatles tunes. It sounds just as good now as it did then. Enjoy a trip back to 8PM, February 9th, 1964.
