PACKWOOD (AP) — Authorities say a body was found in a manufactured home that burned about 75 miles west of Yakima.

The Chronicle newspaper of Centralia reports the body was found Tuesday at a home in Packwood on U.S. Highway 12 after crews battled the fire for several hours. According to the Chronicle, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office believes it's likely the body belongs to the 57-year-old man who lived in the home.

“At this time there is no obvious signs of a criminal act,” Sheriff's Office Chief Dusty Breen told the Chronicle.
