Fatal Car Crash on Highway 12 West of Naches

A 28-year-old man was killed in a crash on Highway 12 early Thursday morning 13 miles west of Naches. State Patrol troopers say Michael Orr was driving his Chevy pickup truck westbound when he entered a right curve, drifted into the eastbound lanes and off the roadway. His truck rolled several times coming to rest on its top. Orr died at the scene. Troopers say he was not wearing a seatbelt and they do not know if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. An investigation continues today. The crash was reported at about 4:20 a.m. Thursday.
