Farm Accident Takes Life of Lower Valley Orchardist

A 57-year-old man died in a Grandview orchard Tuesday after being pinned on his tractor by a tree branch. Yakima County Sheriff's officials say the man, who hasn't been identified, was spraying the cherry orchard when he turned a corner and became pinned between a tree branch and the tractor. A worker found the man and called authorities. Fire officials say he died at the scene.
