Fair Highlights: Monday, Sept. 22

Yeah, yeah. We probably should be at work or school or in court or whatever -- but NOT TODAY!

We're hitting the Central Washington State Fair again because, among other things, it's Franz Bread Day. Which means, if you bring in an empty Franz sack with a sticker and pay 23 bucks at the gate, you get unlimited carnival rides today.

Whoaaaa.

Any questions about where we're going today? So we hit all the rides, including the new Freak Out machine, which looks like something we should try BEFORE lunch.

What else?

• No more delays. This time, we're stopping by the Walk on the Wild Side Exotic Animals and Reptiles exhibit. They kind of creep us out, and yet ...
• At 2 p.m., we might swing by the Cooking with Yakima Regional Hospital demonstration. Hey, who can beat hospital food?
• And we gotta find that Maxx the Robot. You'd figure he'd sort of stand out.
