Expanded Selah Firing Center Road Park and Ride Lot Opens Tuesday

The enlarged facility encourages more commuters to car pool, saving money and energy.

More parking spaces will be available at the popular Selah Firing Center Road Park and Ride off I-82 starting on Tuesday, Aug. 19. The newly resurfaced and re-striped lot more than doubles from 45 spaces up to 104.

The upgrades are part of a $240,000 grant awarded to Yakima Transit and administered by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
