47 Percent of Members of Congress are Millionaires --
The Center for Responsive Politics has examined the financial information of the members of Congress and reports that nearly half of them -- 47 percent -- are millionaires. The numbers are even more stark in the Senate, where 66 of its 100 members, representing two-thirds of the chamber, are wroth at least $1 million.
