The Seattle Seahawks have resigned defensive end Michael Bennett.  ESPN NFL insider Adam Shefter reports that Bennett and the Seahawks have agreed to a four-year contract.   Bennett reportedly inked a four-year deal worth $28 million with $16 million guaranteed.

Bennett signed a one-year contract with the Seahawks before last year after he played his first four seasons in Tampa Bay.  He had 8.5 sacks with Seattle in 2013 and helped lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl Championship.

Bennett started his career with the Seahawks as an undrafted free-agent in 2009. He was released by the Seahawks before he signed with Tampa Bay.
