Emergency Phone Service Down in Washington
Emergency 911 service is down in most of the state of Washington.
A duty officer at the state Emergency Management Division at Camp Murray, Alan Steele, says it began around 1 a.m. Thursday and affects the service provided by CenturyLink.
People needing emergency help are advised to call business numbers for dispatch centers.
