A fire this morning has destroyed a food bank in Ellensburg.

The fire started around 8 this morning at the FISH Food Bank on W. 2nd Avenue.

The Vice President of the Board of Directors at FISH, Duke Senter, says the fire started from an electrical malfunction and the building and everything inside is a total loss.

There were no injuries.

Volunteers and organizers are now working on moving operations to other warehouses in the city, but say they will need to find a space big enough for daily operations. For more information on how to help or make a donation click here.
