Eddie Murphy Recieves the Mark Twain Prize

WASHINGTON (AP) — Eddie Murphy is the winner of this year's Mark Twain Award for comedy. The veteran comic will be given the honor at an event in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 18. Among the comedians taking part in the tribute will be Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Kathy Griffin, Arsenio Hall and Trevor Noah. Also to appear are "Saturday Night Live" cast members including Jay Pharoah, Kevin Nealon and Joe Piscopo. It was, of course, SNL that helped launch Eddie Murphy into stardom.
