The East Valley School District is pulling together to help one of it's own.

Multiple fundraisers for science teacher Randy Henry have been organized after he lost his wife and his home in a tragic fire last Thursday.

Dottie Say, the Principal at East Valley High School said the school is like one big family, and staff and students are all lending a hand to help the teacher get back on his feet.

"Randy Henry had such a big love for his wife, and he shared her with us because she chaperoned dances and she went on field trips and she was part of our family."

Students have organized two events. The first is a car wash this Saturday on the 1400 Block of South First Street. Then on Tuesday night, Abby's Legendary Pizza will hold a special fundraising night from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The principal said there is also a donation account at Banner Bank under "The Randy Henry Benefit Fund."
