Earth Day Hike in Cowiche Canyon

If you haven't had to chance to hike or bike the Cowiche Canyon mark your calendar for Sunday, April 21. That's the date of the Earth Day hike says Besty Bloomfield, Executive Director of the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. She says the hike will give you some great insight into Yakima's hidden gem. Bloomfield says during the hike “we’ll have experts in geology, fish and other wildlife that populate the canyon” to let you know all about the trail. The hike, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. is followed by a big fundraiser called Cowiche Canyon Rocks. For more information call the Conservancy at 248 5065.
