A drive by shooting early Easter morning sent sirens through a Yakima neighborhood. The shooting was reported at about 2:00 a.m. in the 4 hundred block of South 7 Street. Yakima Police say a 23-year-old woman was hit while she was inside the residence by someone firing shots from the street. The woman was taken to a Yakima hospital with wounds that were not life threatening but serious. No arrests were made. They say a family member who once lived at the home was a former gang member, though the injured woman did not appear to have ties to a gang. The woman continues to recover today.
