Earl Thomas Stops By Yakima

Yakima hosted a Super Bowl champion Sunday.

Safety Earl Thomas of the Seattle Seahawks was in town to give a special showing of the new movie "Draft Day" and fans lined up around the block with anticipation.

For a $150 ticket, fans were given the chance to meet and get their picture taken with the Legion of Boom member.

"It means a lot," Craig Chacon said. "You know this is a small community. A lot of people don't even know where Yakima is at. When Seattle won the Super Bowl, it's the whole state not just the city. We're stoked that he recognizes us."

Thomas made an appearance in the Tri-Cities Saturday night.
